"Most of our professionals spend countless painful hours struggling to create and fine-tune key business presentations. But why stay up half the night to finish a presentation when the result is visually cluttered, disorganized, and far from motivating?"

That's a fairly accurate description of what happens in so many companies today-a story I hear over and over again. And not just from the junior ranks. The reality is, even seasoned executives, salespeople, managers, and professionals spend valuable time laboring over presentations that, in the end, don't hit their mark.

Why do such talented professionals struggle with presentations? They struggle because they don't know how to logically organize their points ... how to create a clear, concise message ... how to punctuate their talk with engaging stories ... ... how to leverage all the tools in PowerPoint to create compelling on-screen slides ... how to practice their presentations in the right way ... how to engage audiences and motivate action.

In short, professionals struggle because few have been taught how to design and deliver audience focused presentations-the kind that make their people sit up and take notice.

What is the Wilder Presentation Performance Process?
In contrast to traditional presentation coursework that simply tells people what to improve, Wilder's Presentation Performance Process shows professionals how to achieve targeted improvements in the quality, performance, and results of their most important business presentations.
  Step One: Targeted Assessment
Discover what presenters need to be successful
How much time do your professionals spend on presentations? Where do they struggle? Our self-assessment tools and surveys help you pinpoint where people need the most help. From survey findings, we create a "profile" of your presenters' strengths and developmental needs, to guide the development of a presentation improvement strategy. The profile sheds insights on how changes made to presentation formats, training, or delivery coaching will have the greatest impact on your presenters' success.

Step Two: Customized Formats
Equip presenters with the right new tools

Equip your presenters with the confidence, skills and tools they need to create winning presentations every time, and in far less time.

Named by clients as the most valuable tools in The Wilder Presentation Performance Process, our customized formats offer a powerful array of formats for the most common presentation scenarios in business today.

Drawing on real-world success models, each one of Wilder's twenty-six formats come complete with a topic-specific logic structure, talking points, and delivery tips particular to different presentation scenarios. Clients can choose any of our presentation scenario formats, or work with Wilder to custom-develop these and other formats to reflect your unique business needs. Formats include:

Just as important, your formats will align perfectly with your organization's unique approach to presentation-based business decision-making.

Step Three: Presentation Tools and Skills Seminars
Build presentations that incite action

No more boring presentations!

Wilder's seminars equip professionals with the know-how and the tools for designing, developing and delivering successful business presentations-in half the time as before. The result is an immediate improvement in both the quality and productivity of presentations.

Creating PowerPoint Presentations that Get Your Point Across is a one-day seminar that teaches professionals how to select and use custom formats for organizing, designing, and developing effective presentations. If desired, we can conduct a version of this workshop for administrative staff people whose job is assisting leaders in creating and formatting presentations.

Winning Presentations is a two-day seminar that enhances delivery skills and presentation outcomes. This workshop encompasses all of the features of our one-day workshop, plus intensive video-supported stand-up delivery practice. During the seminar, participants learn how to interact and engage with audiences, clearly communicate key message points, gain and hold audience attention, project conviction and enthusiasm, and respond effectively to audience objections. Our unique action learning setting allows participants to apply new skills right away by working on a presentation of their choice during the seminar. By the end of day two, participants will have transformed and improved their slide presentations, and have delivered their presentation several times. After the workshop, participants have access to Wilder's books, CD's and monthly Presentation Points bulletin.

Step Four: Individualized Coaching
Demonstrate success one presentation at a time

Claudyne Wilder, acclaimed presentations coach and speaker, provides personalized coaching for leaders who need to make immediate improvements in their presentations and speaking style. Wilder coaching sessions ensure specific goals can be achieved in a short timeframe, and are typically scheduled to coincide with a "real-world" (often high stakes) presentation.

Claudyne's unique consulting style has worked for industry leaders including Fidelity Investments, The Gillette Company, Mercury Computer, The Nature Conservancy, and Abbott, among others. Her passion for the performance and presentation arts makes her the consummate presentation consultant.

Taken together or individually, these steps will help even your best presenters achieve dramatic improvements in the results they get from presentations, namely, better alignment on key business issues, faster acceptance of decision recommendations, and more sustainable support on key initiatives over the long-term.

Flexible Implementation Options

The Wilder Process may be implemented as a stand-alone solution for individuals, teams, divisions-or integrated into your existing professional development and performance improvement initiatives.
